Toshiba 46WL753B

Over the past few weeks personally I have got more and more interest in the super slim LCD TV products that have hit the market. The first product I saw was the Samsung offering which is simply beautiful. So today I am pleased to be reviewing the Toshiba 46WL753B.

So firstly lets look at the numbers

  • 46 Inch screen
  • Super slim design
  • 200HZ processor
  • Backlighting provided by LED technology
  • 1080p Full HDTV
  • Wireless enabled
  • Numerous ports including USB

So the numbers look great, but from looking at a huge amount of LCD TV models this doesn't always mean that they are the best when you turn them on and sit and try and watch something. So after you have pulled your jaw off the floor and stopped yourself from drooling over the design here's what you get to see.

As you would expect the Toshiba 46WL753B really does deliver. This is not surprising as most of the models from this manufacturer are completely awesome. What is great that the picture quality really does work extremely well. What we mean by this is that the LED Backlighting and the processor work in tandem to make the picture crystal clear and seamless as objects move across the screen.

As the model comes with the top technology (and it works) it delivers pictures must faster than other models on the market. Therefore you will not experience any grain effect or shadow when images move. The colours are also much more vibrant and are really life like, when your watching an action movie the picture really is fantastic.

What I also found great about this model is that at 46 inches its not too big for a normal room. It is often the case that the model you want is a bit further down the shelf with a bigger screen and much bigger price tag. This however is not the case with the 46WL753B all of the top quality is delivered in a decent sized package with a reasonable price tag.

What is also great about this model is that it comes with the new Eco feature. This (for those who haven't seen it) is technology that allows the LCD TV to work using much less electricity than older models. So it saves you money on the electricity bill and reduces your carbon footprint. For me however this is more of an excuse to sit watching it for a bit longer.
